Bear River kept up with Stansbury until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Stallions' defense stepped up to hand the Bears a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Stansbury, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Emielyn Major and Alyvia Sartori scored all three of Stansbury's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

The win was the fourth in a row for Stansbury, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Bear River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Stansbury will take on Green Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Stansbury's defense better be ready for this one: Green Canyon have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Bear River, they will square off against Sky View at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
