Volleyball Recap: Port Arthur Memorial Comes Up Short

If Port Arthur Memorial was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Orange-Stark on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans fell 2-0 to the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes on Thursday.

Port Arthur Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Fort Bend Hightower, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Coincidentally, Port Arthur Memorial and Fort Bend Hightower will both be playing Kountze the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
