Middletown Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 35 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 67-32 win over Miami Valley on the road. Given Middletown Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while Miami Valley is ranked 730th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Dayton Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-21 loss at the hands of Legacy Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dayton Christian has scored all season.
Middletown Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dayton Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.
Middletown Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Dayton Christian in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory.
