Softball Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Comes Up Short

Cimarron-Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bishop Gorman Gaels, falling 22-0. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Gaels from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Cimarron-Memorial's record now sits at 3-5. As for Bishop Gorman, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 8-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cimarron-Memorial will venture away from home to take on Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cimarron-Memorial will need to watch out since Legacy has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Bishop Gorman, they will head out to face off against Green Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Valley will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
