Volleyball Recap: Natalia Rosa's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jordan over Carrboro + How To Watch

Jordan came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Carrboro Jaguars, falling 3-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Jordan was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Carrboro's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.

Jordan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Natalia Rosa, who had 11 assists and seven digs.

Leading Carrboro to victory were Camille Rucker and Caroline Butler. Rucker had 16 assists and 11 digs, while Butler had six digs and two aces. Those 11 digs gave Rucker a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jordan fell to 2-1. As for Carrboro, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
