Basketball Recap: Newark Collegiate Academy Victorious

Newark Collegiate Academy posted their closest win since January 9th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 victory over the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 51-39 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2016.

Newark Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Tigers on Thursday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will square off against St. Augustine Prep on Friday.
