Basketball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 62-43 bruising from the Glencoe Crimson Tide. That's two games in a row now that the Apollos have lost by exactly 19 points.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Glencoe, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Sunset will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Glencoe and St. Mary's Academy will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
