Volleyball Recap: Hatch Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hatch Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tularosa Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Hatch Valley came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23.

Hatch Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Tularosa, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-6.

Hatch Valley has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Deming on the 18th. As for Tularosa, they will face off against Ruidoso at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
