Case Hilliard turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Biggersville is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-12 otherwise.

Hilliard's strong effort led Biggersville over Wheeler and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
