Volleyball Recap: Garden Plain Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Garden Plain waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Augusta Orioles by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Garden Plain had a senior duo take command as Jaicey Stuhlsatz had four digs and two aces and Erin Smith had ten digs. Stuhlsatz is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season. Kennedy Hayden also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Garden Plain's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Augusta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-11-1 record this season.

Garden Plain has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Winfield on the 27th. As for Augusta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Douglass on the 27th.
