Bangor has gone 9-1 against Palisades recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bangor Slaters will look to defend their home court against the Palisades Pirates at 12:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bangor lost 69-43 to Northwestern Lehigh on Monday. The Slaters haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Palisades played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Wilson Area, falling 76-51. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 618th, while the Warriors are ranked 278th).

Bangor will need focus on slowing down Blake Oglialoro, one of several Palisades players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 for 12 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Andrew, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 12 points.

Palisades dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bangor, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Bangor was able to grind out a solid win over Palisades in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 38-26. Does Bangor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palisades turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
