After failing to score in their last game, Catalina made sure to put some goals up on the board against Thatcher on Friday. They put the hurt on the Thatcher Eagles with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Catalina's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four contests. As for Thatcher, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Catalina will head out to square off against Sabino at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catalina is facing Sabino at the right time seeing as Sabino is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. Thatcher has already played their next game (against Morenci), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
