Basketball Recap: Dallas Comes Up Short

Dallas lost against West Albany back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dallas Dragons had to suffer through a 79-36 loss at the hands of the West Albany Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 50th).

Dallas' loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for West Albany, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dallas will challenge Silverton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Albany, they will take on Crescent Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Crescent Valley likes a good challenge.
