Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for the Village School of Naples

The Village School of Naples had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Moore Haven Terriers by a score of 13-8. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Christian Horvath, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Baxter, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The Village School of Naples' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Moore Haven, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, The Village School of Naples will head out on the road to square off against First Baptist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
