Baseball Game Preview: Philip Barbour Colts vs. Doddridge County Bulldogs

The Philip Barbour Colts will head out to challenge the Doddridge County Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Philip Barbour will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Thursday, Philip Barbour was able to grind out a solid win over Lewis County, taking the game 6-3.

Kale Wolfe was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Grant Harris was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Doddridge County and South Harrison had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Doddridge County came out on top in a nail-biter against South Harrison on Thursday, sneaking past 7-5.

Philip Barbour's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Doddridge County, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
