Volleyball Recap: Splendora Wildcats vs. Pasadena Eagles
Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pasadena Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.
While Splendora was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-22.
Despite the loss, Splendora still got an impressive performance from Braylie Griggs, who had 23 digs and two assists. Lori Hebert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Pasadena, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9.
Splendora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Crosby on the 7th. As for Pasadena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Kingwood Park on the 7th.
