Baseball Recap: Marina Mariners vs. Watsonville Wildcatz

Marina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 19-1 to the Watsonville Wildcatz. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcatz this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Monday.

Marina saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Douglas Ciolino, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Bryce Laoagan also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Marina's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Watsonville, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-9.
