Basketball Recap: Oregon Takes a Loss

Oregon won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They came up short against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses, falling 62-40. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Dukes & Duchesses: they've now lost six in a row.

Oregon's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Dixon, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Oregon will face off against Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups. As for Dixon, they will take on Byron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dixon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Byron likes a good challenge.
