South Hills lost 88-65 to Los Altos on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (55), the Huskies still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 70-61 to Villa Park. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (57), the Titans still had to take the loss.

South Hills will need focus on slowing down Desmond Flanagan, one of several Colony players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those 14 points gave Flanagan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Terron Grant, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for South Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
