Eastern never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Federal Hocking Lancers. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hunter Needs and Mason Shepherd made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Needs pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Shepherd tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Needs scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Shepherd scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Shepherd a new career-high in RBI (two).
