Open Bible Christian has no trouble against Corinth Christian Academy

Open Bible Christian came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Corinth Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 59-41. That's another feather in the cap for Open Bible Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Corinth Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alden Hughes, who scored 15 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Fowler, who scored nine points.

Open Bible Christian pushed their record up to 11-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Corinth Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Open Bible Christian will be playing at home against Gainesville Christian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gainesville Christian Community is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Corinth Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Westwood Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday.
