Basketball Recap: Howell Central's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Howell Central won the last time they faced Notre Dame and things went their way on Friday too. The Howell Central Spartans walked away with a 58-47 victory over the Notre Dame Bulldogs. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the win, Howell Central broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-3. As for Notre Dame, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Howell Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-41 loss against Republic on the 25th. As for Notre Dame, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-43 defeat against Battle on the 25th.
