St. Edward and Chicago Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Green Wave will venture away from home to face off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for St. Edward and eight for Chicago Christian.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times St. Edward and Aurora Central Catholic had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Green Wave came up short against the Chargers on Monday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, St. Edward can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Aurora Central Catholic are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Chicago Christian's offense. They fell just short of Richards by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Chicago Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything went St. Edward's way against Chicago Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as St. Edward made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
