Baseball Recap: Terry Rangers vs. Lamar Consolidated Mustangs

Terry had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs on Tuesday as the Terry Rangers made off with a 17-11 win. The victory was just what Terry needed coming off of a 21-1 defeat in their prior game.

For Lamar Consolidated's part, Jordan Siegel and Gavin Lee stepped up to the plate in a big way. Siegel got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, a triple, and two RBI, while Lee scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Mikey Cuellar, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Terry's win bumped their record up to 8-15-1. As for Lamar Consolidated, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20-1.

Terry will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lamar Consolidated: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
