Football Recap: J.R. Tucker Comes Up Short on the Road Against Caroline + How To Watch

J.R. Tucker kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt an 83-12 defeat at the hands of the Caroline Cavaliers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Blake Morris went supernova For Caroline., rushing for 88 yards and three scores on only six carries, while also throwing for 137 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 passes. Tre Coles was another key player, rushing for 72 yards and two TDs.

Looking ahead, J.R. Tucker will challenge Prince George at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Caroline, they will head out on the road to take on Colonial Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
