Softball Recap: Marcus Triumphs

Marcus never let their opponents score on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the John Paul II Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Marauders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Marcus has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs this season. As for John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Marcus will head out on the road to challenge Granbury at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday. As for John Paul II, they will take on Aledo in a tournament on Thursday.
