Lake Stevens won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Lake Stevens had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Laura Eichert paced Lake Stevens' offense, picking up 32 kills. Eichert got some help from Olivia Gonzales and her 51 assists. Gonzales was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lake Stevens' victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Arlington, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lake Stevens is set to challenge their familiar foe Kamiak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Arlington will take on rival Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
