Football Game Recap: Allen vs. Winside

Allen won the last time they met up with Winside, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Allen were the clear victor by a 34-0 margin over Winside. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Allen had established a 34-0 advantage.

Allen's success was spearheaded by the efforts of senior Kyle Smith, who rushed for 132 yards and 1 touchdown, and sophomore Anthony Isom, who rushed for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The victory bumped Allen's record up to 3-0. Winside are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Next week Allen take on Bloomfield at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. Winside will look to defend their home turf against Spalding/Spalding Academy.
