Volleyball Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lynn Classical Rams, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Medford was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lynn Classical's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-21.

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lynn Classical, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Medford will square off against rival Revere at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lynn Classical is set to challenge their familiar foe Everett at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
