Basketball Recap: Alexy Valdez Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Varsity Opponent

LaProgresiva Presbyterian won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent and things went their way on Thursday too. The LaProgresiva Presbyterian Knights enjoyed a cozy 53-39 win over Varsity Opponent. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

LaProgresiva Presbyterian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexy Valdez out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. With that strong performance, Valdez is now averaging an impressive 9.1 boards per game. Bryan Quezada was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.

LaProgresiva Presbyterian's win bumped their record up to 3-4.
