Caldwell County is 9-1 against Crittenden County since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Rockets at 5:45 p.m. The timing is sure in Caldwell County's favor as the team sits on 15 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Crittenden County has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Caldwell County barely beat Ballard Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers never let the Bombers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Caldwell County got a massive performance out of Luke Parker, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Parker has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Stevens, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Caldwell County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ballard Memorial only posted a batting average of .176.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Crittenden County's offense. They came up short against Trigg County on Thursday, falling 10-0.

Crittenden County's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Caldwell County, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2.

Everything went Caldwell County's way against Crittenden County when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Caldwell County made off with an 8-1 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
