Volleyball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Lake Travis Cavaliers. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-3, 25-7.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Travis, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Iowa Colony on the 14th. As for Lake Travis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Klein Oak on the 14th.
