Dynamic duo of Kennedy Bradshaw and Morgan Riley lead Central Fellowship Christian Academy to victory

Recap: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers vs. Covenant Academy

The Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers won the last time they faced Covenant Academy, and things went their way on Friday too. Central Fellowship Christian Academy took down Covenant Academy 53-36. Given Central Fellowship Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Covenant Academy is ranked 379th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Central Fellowship Christian Academy to victory were Kennedy Bradshaw and Morgan Riley. Bradshaw scored 16 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Riley scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Riley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Molly Gunningham was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

The win makes it two in a row for Central Fellowship Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-7. As for Covenant Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Fellowship Christian Academy will take on Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Covenant Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Windsor Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Windsor Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21.
