Basketball Recap: Lansing Christian Comes Up Short

If Lansing Christian was feeling good fresh off their 56-31 takedown of Dansville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lansing Christian Pilgrims took a 71-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bath Fighting Bees. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Pilgrims still had to take the loss.

Lansing Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Bath, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lansing Christian and Laingsburg will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Laingsburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Bath will take on Saranac in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bath's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
