Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Southlake Carroll's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Southlake Carroll won the last time they faced Crowley and things went their way on Friday too. The Southlake Carroll Dragons wrapped up 2024 with a 55-40 win over the Crowley Eagles. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Eagles are ranked 545th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southlake Carroll is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Crowley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Southlake Carroll will head out on the road to face off against Keller Central at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Crowley, they will challenge Boswell at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
