Baseball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast was the 11-8 winner over McKinley when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. Northeast came up short against McKinley on Wednesday, falling 19-7.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for McKinley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will venture away from home to square off against Slaughter Community Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McKinley, they will square off against Madison Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
