Volleyball Recap: East Limestone Comes Up Short

East Limestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Guntersville Wildcats. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Guntersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Guntersville has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Decatur on the 30th. Hopefully East Limestone paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
