Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wellington). Everything went their way against the Brookside Cardinals on Saturday as they made off with a 9-4 win. It was an even better day for Baptiste Fontaine as he scored five goals for his team.

The victory made it two in a row for Wellington and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two matchups. As for Brookside, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wellington will challenge Firelands at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brookside, they will take on Open Door Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
