Softball Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

Wagner came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars, falling 10-1.

Wagner has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for McCook Central/Montrose, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Wagner wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 23-2 loss against Flandreau on the 3rd. As for McCook Central/Montrose, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Sioux Valley on the 3rd.
