Narraguagus put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Calais Blue Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Narraguagus' got stronger as the match went on, holding Calais to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-14.

Narraguagus was led to victory by Eileen Berry and Ivy Stanwood. Berry had ten digs and four aces, while Stanwood had 13 digs and four aces. Berry has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Narraguagus was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces in three consecutive matches.

Narraguagus' record is now 13-0. As for Calais, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Narraguagus will take on rival Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Calais is set to challenge their familiar foe Machias at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
