Football Recap: Rock Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rock Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the East Thunderbirds and fell 49-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the TIGERS of the 36-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Rock Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for East, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rock Springs will face off against rival Kelly Walsh at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East is set to square off against their familiar foe Campbell County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Thunderbirds 14.9, the Camels 14.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
