Biglerville can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Fairfield Knights 52-49. The Canners' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Biglerville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Fairfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Biglerville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Littlestown at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Fairfield and Southern Huntingdon County will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
