Soccer Game Preview: Permian vs. Odessa

The Permian Panthers will square off against the Odessa Bronchos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Permian's offense. They came up short against Stephenville two weeks ago, falling 3-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Odessa gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Abilene with a sharp 4-1 win. The score was close at the half, but the Bronchos pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit Abilene with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jazlyn Estrada (2), Devonee Aspeitia, and Yaribel Valdez.

Permian's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Odessa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.
