Baseball Recap: Rye Takes a Loss

Rye fell victim to Fowler and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 10-0. The Thunderbolts just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Rye's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fowler, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rye will challenge Las Animas at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbolts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Fowler, they will face off against Hoehne at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
