Football Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside lost against James Monroe back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Renegades received a blow as they fell 34-18 to the Mavericks.

Westside has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for James Monroe, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westside will square off against rival Shady Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, James Monroe is set to take on their familiar foe Greenbrier East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
