Volleyball Recap: Southwest Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Southwest had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sam Houston Texans. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 12-2-1. As for Sam Houston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-12-1.

Southwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Tioga on the 23rd. As for Sam Houston, they will be playing at home against Mansfield Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
