Football Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hinsdale Central suffered their biggest loss since October 5, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Glenbard West Hilltoppers, falling 44-20. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Hilltoppers are ranked fifth).

This is the second loss in a row for Hinsdale Central and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 5-1 York (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 91.7% over those games). As for Glenbard West, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
