Volleyball Recap: Williamsville Beats Maroa-Forsyth for Their Third Straight Victory

Williamsville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Bullets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Maroa-Forsyth scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Hannah Holliday paced Williamsville's offense, picking up 14 kills. Holliday got some help from Kinsley Fox and her 11 assists. Holliday was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Williamsville's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Maroa-Forsyth, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-9.

Williamsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Normal University on the 10th. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they will take on PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
