Creekside Christian Academy skates past Calvary Christian with ease

You can't lose the match if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars's strategy against the Calvary Christian Knights on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Creekside Christian Academy blew Calvary Christian out of the water with a 89-38 final score. That looming 89-38 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Creekside Christian Academy yet this season.

Cedric Taylor was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. Kelton Teasley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.

Despite the defeat, Calvary Christian saw an underclassman step up: Tj Benson scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Benson continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The win makes it two in a row for Creekside Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Calvary Christian, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Central is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 60.5 points per game.
