Football Preview: Washington-Marion Charging Indians vs. LaGrange Gators
Washington-Marion hasn't had much luck against LaGrange recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Charging Indians will challenge the Gators at 7:00 p.m. Washington-Marion will be strutting in after a victory while LaGrange will be coming in after a loss.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Washington-Marion turned things around against Peabody on Friday. They took down the Warhorses 44-26.
A big part of Washington-Marion's win came down to the chemistry between Monte Farmer and his top target Craig Tillman. Farmer threw for 56 yards and three TDs while Tillman gained 99 total yards and three touchdowns.
Washington-Marion was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Washington-Marion didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Farmer, Carson Guice, and Koreyon Washington picked up one apiece. Guice is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 6-6 at halftime, LaGrange was not quite Abbeville's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell 20-14 to the Wildcats.
LaGrange's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Washington-Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
